SHEAP 2026: International School on High-Energy and Astro-Physics

Theme: Modified Gravity and Theoretical Foundations

Event Details

Overview

The SHEAP 2026 is an intensive academic program hosted by the Institute for Fundamental Study (IF), Naresuan University. The school aims to provide a comprehensive bridge for advanced undergraduate and graduate students into the frontiers of High-Energy Physics and Astrophysics, focusing on the mathematical structures and physical implications of modified gravity.

Registration Information

The school welcomes undergraduate seniors and graduate students (Master's and Ph.D.) with a strong interest in theoretical physics.

  • Aspect Capacity: 30 participants - (The list of selected participants will be announced later for confirmation.)
Registration Fee: Free! (No cost to join the activity.)
  • Travel Expenses: Participants are responsible for their own travel costs. We have some travel support for foreign students in ASEAN. This support is limited to 4-5 students, depending on our budget.
  • Accommodation: We support free on-campus accommodation at Naresuan dormitory for all students.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/SqeMhnvrxy5SNofv6 This is available upon request.
(If you want to stay at a different place, you will be responsible for booking and covering the lodging costs yourself.)

    • Stay period: From the night of August 12 – 19, 2026.

    • Room Format: Shared rooms with other participants (2 people per room, separated by gender).

  • Please provide your information for registration in the following link https://forms.gle/oTNTQm4saHDwFQqH6

Objectives
