Description

This workshop aims to bring together a diverse group of experts in jet physics relevant to understanding the short distance scale behavior of the quark-gluon plasma.  The aim is to focus on in depth discussions of the various measurements and theoretical models in a workshop style meeting.  The speakers will be biased toward those actually doing the measurements and calculations, especially advanced students and postdocs.  Measurements from all the RHIC and LHC experiments will be discussed along with the latest theoretical modeling and comparisons to data.

There are several local hotels at which rooms can be booked. The closest hotel is the Hampton Inn on University in Urbana (4 blocks from Loomis Lab). There is also the TownSuites Champaign on Green Street. Other hotels in Champaign will require transportation to the workshop venue.
