During General Topics presentations, the presentation timer will be shown on monitors facing the speaker and the chairpersons.
Each oral presentation slot is 15 minutes in total. Of this, 14 minutes are allotted to the speaker, including the introduction by the chairperson, the presentation, and the Q&A discussion.The remaining 1 minute is reserved for transition to the next presentation.
As a general guideline, presenters are encouraged to use approximately 10–12 minutes for the presentation itself and to leave approximately 2–4 minutes for Q&A discussion. However, the balance between presentation time and discussion time may be adjusted as appropriate within the allotted 14 minutes.
The timer will start counting down from 14 minutes at the scheduled starting time of each presentation, that is, when the chairperson starts introducing the speaker.
For the first 10 minutes, the progress bar will be shown in green.
At 10 minutes, with 4 minutes remaining, the bell will ring once, and the progress bar will change to yellow. Presenters are encouraged to end their presentation and begin the Q&A discussion while the progress bar is yellow, that is, with 2–4 minutes remaining.
At 12 minutes, with 2 minutes remaining, the bell will ring twice, and the progress bar will change to orange.
At 14 minutes, with 0 minutes remaining, the bell will ring three times, and the progress bar will change to red, indicating the end of the allotted presentation/Q&A time. At this point, the chairpersons are requested to end the presentation and Q&A immediately, so that the next presentation can start on schedule after the 1-minute transition interval.

一般演題発表では、演者および座長に見える位置に、プレゼンテーション・タイマーを表示します。
各口頭発表の枠は、合計15分です。このうち14分を、座長による演者紹介、発表、質疑応答を含む発表・質疑時間とします。残りの1分は、次の発表への移行時間として確保しています。
目安として、発表者には発表そのものを10〜12分程度で終え、質疑応答の時間を2〜4分程度残していただくことを推奨します。ただし、発表時間と質疑応答時間の配分は、14分の範囲内で適宜調整していただいて構いません。
タイマーは、各発表の開始予定時刻、すなわち座長が演者紹介を開始する時点から、14分のカウントダウンを開始します。
最初の10分間は、プログレスバーが緑色で表示されます。
10分経過時点、すなわち残り4分の時点でベルが1回鳴り、プログレスバーが黄色に変わります。発表者には、プログレスバーが黄色の間、すなわち残り2〜4分の間に発表を終了し、質疑応答に移行していただくことを推奨します。
12分経過時点、すなわち残り2分の時点でベルが2回鳴り、プログレスバーがオレンジ色に変わります。
14分経過時点、すなわち残り0分の時点でベルが3回鳴り、プログレスバーが赤色に変わります。これは、発表・質疑応答時間の終了を示します。この時点で、座長の先生方には発表および質疑応答を速やかに終了し、1分間の移行時間を経て、次の発表が予定時刻どおり開始できるようご協力をお願いいたします。
