Description

We study a subclass of GLPV modified gravity theories generated by a general disformal metric ${\overline{g}}_{\mu \nu }=g_{\mu \nu }+D(\varphi ,\partial \varphi ){\partial }_{\mu }\varphi {\partial }_{\nu }\varphi$. By solving the background evolution equation, we found that such theory cannot provide the self-accelerating solution.
