Description

The pseudo-complex version of the Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–
Walker model (pcFLRW) is presented within the framework of pseudo-complex
General Relativity (pcGR). In this approach, dark energy arises as a geometric
consequence of the pseudo-complex structure, leading to a time-dependent
Hubble parameter H(z), which at the present time yields a value H0 and, crucially,
a non-zero time derivative ˙H0. The relation between the time derivative
of the Hubble parameter and a single geometric parameter β in the effective
dark-energy equation of state is derived and constrained using recent DESI
BAO data. Fitting β yields a best-fit value β = 1.0426+-0.0144 and a present-day Hubble acceleration dH0/dt ≃ (0.94 +- 0.32) × 10−17 (km/s2)/Mpc.
In pcGR, however, the non-vanishing ˙H0 is a direct geometric prediction,
