ATMs are available on the international terminal (T2). Please ask airport staff/security personnel for their locations. Generally, the ATMs of the State Bank of India accept most cards. There are also currency exchange booths available at T2.
There is an ATM inside TIFR. Please ask any volunteer once you are inside TIFR. Your hotel staff can guide you to the nearest ATMs. Most restaurants also accept credit cards.
- Commute to and from TIFR: We will provide bus service from the major hotels to TIFR in the morning and from TIFR to these hotels in the evening. Online cabs (Uber, Ola, etc) and regular Mumbai taxis are also easily available (prices are within INR 200 from most South Mumbai hotels).
- Lunch: Lunch will be provided for all participants on each day of the conference in a garden area just outside the Homi Bhabha auditorium. All tea/coffee breaks will also take place there. Dietary restrictions can be catered for. Please inform us accordingly during the registration process. On the day of the excursion, a packed lunch will be provided.
- One month before the conference we will ask you for your hotel arrival and departure information.
- Childcare Services: We plan to offer a limited number of free places at TIFR's childcare facility, which is located within the TIFR residential campus (adjacent to TIFR). If you are interested, please email lattice2025@theory.tifr.res.in with "Childcare" in the subject line as soon as possible.

Currency: Indian currency is in Rupee (₹) and the conversion rate can be found here: Conversion rate from Indian Rupees (INR). There is a bank inside TIFR campus (close to the cluster of parallel session rooms).
Weather
The average temperature during the conference days is expected to be 20-30oC. A link to November weather.
There are many restaurants in South Mumbai, covering a wide spectrum of food types. A few lists can be found here: Fort/Kala Ghoda area, Colaba and Kala Ghoda, Colaba area, Churchgate/Marine drive area. Vegetarian food is easy to get in most restaurants. For vegan food, one can go to the vegetarian-only restaurants and request preparations without dairy.Shops and Banks
Banks are generally open from 10:00 to 16:00, Monday to Saturday. Some of the international banks are open till 18:00. There are many banks close to the hotels. One National Bank is located on the TIFR Campus. There are plenty of ATMs scattered throughout the city that remain open 24 hours.
Shops are generally open from 10:00 to 20:30 Monday to Saturday. Some shops are also open on Sundays. Major shops accept most international credit cards.
