This workshop will introduce participants to the exciting field of multi-messenger astronomy, where data from various cosmic messengers—such as gravitational waves, electromagnetic signals, and neutrinos—are combined to enhance our understanding of the universe.

Through talks and panels by various invited speakers, we will explore the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities across multi-messenger astronomy.

Location

The HWS 2025 will take place in the charming seaside township of Port Elliot, about 70 km south from Adelaide as the crow flies. It will be held from Thursday July 3rd to Sunday July 6th.

Venues for HWS 2025 are concentrated on The Strand, the main (roughly) north-south thoroughfare in the Port, with a ~380 metre stroll between the main accommodation at the YHA Port Elliot Beach House and the talks location at Salt At The Elliot.

Near the southern end of The Strand, sea views may be enjoyed from Freeman Lookout. Horseshoe Bay, with its pleasant crescent-shaped beach, is found only 150 metres east of the YHA Beach House.

At the north end of The Strand, on North Terrace, around 560 metres north of the YHA Beach House, can be found the local Friendly Grocer store, for general groceries.
