STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory sits within Harwell Campus, situated just off the A34 in the south of Oxfordshire.
International arrivals usually chose to travel via London Heathrow which is both nearest and offers most connections. From Heathrow the fastest routes are via tube to London Paddington station and then on to Didcot, but we offer to provide pickup and dropoff from and to Heathrow by Coach at a fixed time.
If chosing to travel by train, international travellers will arrive into London St Pancras International with the Eurostar, and will need to travel to London Paddington using the Tube or Bus services to then travel on to Didcot Station.
Expect to take about 2h to travel from arrival in London to Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
Accommodation
We have negotiated rates with 3 largest hotels in the area, the Courtyard South Oxford, Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford and the Hampton by Hilton Oxford. Bus transfers between these locations and the meeting venue will be organised.
