DPF Community Meeting

America/New_York
Hitoshi Murayama (University of California Berkeley (US)), Sarah Eno (University of Maryland (US))
Description

This meeting is sponsored by the APS Division of Particles & Fields (DPF, both May 21 & 22) as well as Division of Nuclear Physics (DNP, May 22 only). It is an opportunity for the communities, laboratories, and funding agencies to discuss the infrastructure for long-term leadership in physics.

This indico site is for the DPF-only portion of the event on May 21. For the DPF/DNP joint event on May 22, go to this link.

The meeting will be delivered via zoom webinar and selected talks will be recorded.

The recordings will be available if permitted by the speaker

Please enter questions and comments to speakers in our live document

Each meeting attendee needs to register at this link (provided by APS) before midnight Eastern Time  on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The registration is common to both May 21 and 22.

Explanation: We will be using an APS zoom license for this meeting. To allow for discussion, we are using a zoom meeting instead of a webinar, but that requires that attendees register ahead of time to  protect from zoom-bombing.  They will receive a personal link to join the meeting.

If you encounter any difficulties, please contact the organizers (Hitoshi Murayama <hitoshi@berkeley.edu>)

Everyone who registers for or participates in the Community Meeting activity agrees to abide by the Code of Conduct and accepts the prescribed APS Ethics Investigation and Resolution Procedures.
