Description

The COSINE-100 experiment uses NaI(Tl) detectors to search for WIMP dark matter and to test the DAMA/LIBRA annual modulation claim.
A model-independent analysis of six years of data shows no evidence of annual modulation, excluding the DAMA/LIBRA signal at a significance greater than 3σ.
A model-dependent WIMP analysis based on three years of data further excludes the DAMA/LIBRA allowed region for spin-independent interactions.
With the completion of event selection for the full six-year dataset and a lowered analysis threshold of 0.49 keV, COSINE-100 achieves competitive sensitivity in the GeV mass range.
