On-Campus Parking:
Option 1: Purchase Online
- You can buy a parking pass ahead of time by following these Online Guest Parking Instructions: https://conferences.ucsb.edu/summer-conferences/attendee-information/guestparking
- You should purchase the "Summer Conference (18/22)" permit. This will be valid in Structure 18 and Structure 22, but Structure 18 will be closer to the INSS26 lecture hall.
- You can buy a daily or multi-day permit from the automated dispenser upon arrival in Structure 18 by following these instructions: https://conferences.ucsb.edu/summer-conferences/attendee-information/guestparkingdispenser
- Permits purchased from a lot dispenser are only valid in the specific lot where they were purchased.
West Cottages Parking:
Parking permits are required at the West Cottages and on the UCSB campus at all times. Guests staying at West Cottages may sign up for the Transportation & Parking Services ePermit system, where your license plate is your parking permit, by clicking on Student & Guest Login here. Rates are $8/day. West Cottages guests are eligible for faculty ePermits which are valid in Staff and Faculty spaces at UCSB. If you do not see faculty permit options when you login, reach out to tps-sales@ucsb.edu in advance of your stay to ensure your account is configured correctly. Please refer to the campus map for the location of campus lots.
ADA Parking
- A Disabled placard issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles is not a substitute for a campus permit.
- A valid UCSB permit and a DMV-authorized disabled placard entitles you to park your vehicle in allocated Disabled parking marked by a blue "Disabled" sign or curb stop. In addition, Disabled placard holders may park in any lot or space designated for visitors, students, faculty, or staff including time-restricted spaces that may be used without regard for the posted time limit.
- If you have additional questions, please visit UCSB’s Transportation & Parking Services website: https://www.tps.ucsb.edu/parking-permits/visitor/disabled-parking
