Description
NuWro is a state-of-the-art Monte Carlo generator developed at the University of Wroclaw for simulating neutrino-nucleus interactions. I will present our recent work on fine-tuning of final-state interactions within NuWro. In this, I will present the use of the event reweighting tool to efficiently reweight and adjust the strength of FSI effects in the NuWro Monte Carlo event generator. This development is essential for providing uncertainty estimates arising from the intranuclear cascade model within NuWro. Our study indicates the requirement for stronger nucleon reinteractions than previously assumed. The revised strength estimate still falls within the uncertainty range observed in a prior study comparing proton transparency measurements. These results have significant implications for both experimental and theoretical work involving NuWro. Finally, I will also discuss our recent work on adopting artificial intelligence within NuWro to improve the modelling of lepton-nucleus interactions.
