Scientific Programme: Session Topics

The scientific programme of the Space Charge 2026 Workshop is organised around three core themes:

A. Experiments and Operational Considerations

B. Machine Design and Numerical Modelling of Beam Dynamics

C. Open Topics in Space-Charge Beam Physics

Within each core theme, individual sessions address the topics listed below and are chaired by members of the Programme Committee.

Each session will begin with an overview talk by the Session Chair to lead into the session, followed by up to four invited oral presentations of 10 minutes (plus 5 minutes of questions) each and dedicated time for discussion.

A dedicated poster session will provide participants with an opportunity to present and discuss their work. Poster presenters will also be invited to give a 3-min flash talk introducing their contribution to the full workshop audience. Flash-talk sessions are planned for each of the first two days of the workshop.
