Make sure to comply with UK entry requirements well ahead of your travelling dates. Note that most travellers visiting the UK require a valid ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) or a visa.
If you are not a UK or Irish national or resident, you will likely need an invitation letter. Please contact Particle Physics Administration as soon as possible if you will need a letter of invitation from us, either to apply for a visitor visa or to present at the airport when you enter the UK. We will be happy to discuss what visa you will require or whether any existing visa you hold would be appropriate for this visit.
