The goal of GeoCoW is to develop soft skills, such as collaborative work and interdisciplinarity among young scientists.

GeoCoW is a collaborative workshop where young researchers work in small groups on interdisciplinary topics. Established scientists (see the speakers list below) will propose research topics that would beneficiate from a mathematical insight.

The workshop will also feature:

  • An advanced minicourse by Prof. John Baez.
  • A poster session.
  • A workshop dinner.
  • Outoor activities.
