Code of Conduct

At this conference we are committed to creating an environment that is safe, professional and of mutual trust where diversity and inclusion are valued, and where everyone is entitled to be treated with courtesy and respect. The organisers commit to making this meeting and all associated activities productive and enjoyable for everyone. We will not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

We comply with the Code of Ethics, Conduct and Integrity of the University of Coimbra, which is duly reconciled with the appropriate adaptation and updating of the legal and regulatory frameworks, in accordance with national, European and international guidelines, in the areas falling within its remit.

As a legal person under public law, the University of Coimbra also has the burden of unequivocally reaffirming the rules of conduct applicable to its academic community, by transparently setting out the professional and ethical duties of its teaching staff, researchers, technical staff and collaborators, as well as the fundamental ethical duties to which students are bound, insofar as they are part of the same community, thus honouring the trust that society has placed in the institution.

Participants can confidentially or anonymously report any violation of the Code of Ethics, Conduct and Integrity of the University of Coimbra at the following channel: https://denuncia.uc.pt/
