There will be two tutorial sessions, devoted to give an introduction to ROOT and GLoBES to the students, in particular, but everyone is welcome to attend.
In order to make the best of the available time, we kindly ask/suggest to follow these recommendations before the tutorial:
- Install root in your laptop following the instructions in https://root.cern/install/. You can find there the necessary details depending on the OS you use (Linux/Windows/MacOS).
- Install the GLoBES package (Linux/MacOS). Instructions can be found in this document.
- Optional: In case you use Windows and would like/need to have access to the Linux tools, you can install "Windows subsystem for Linux" (WSL). There might be other options, but with this you wouldn't need to fully install Linux and implement a dual boot in your machine. Instructions for the installation can be found in Spanish and in English.
