Presentations guidelines

The following information is provided to assist authors with the preparation of their presentation. You shall comply with these instructions and guidelines in order to make sure that your presentation will go smoothly. If you need any further information please contact the ISDEIV 2020 organizing committee at isdeiv2020@igi.cnr.it.

POSTER

For your poster presentation, you will be assigned an exclusive zoom session; you will be provided with the host session password: in this way you are enabled to admit attendees for your poster presentation or, should this be the case, to remove them. All necessary technical details, such as connection links to your poster session, will be sent the week before the conference starts.

You are kindly requested to send the material for your presentation to: isdeiv2020@igi.cnr.it, subject: yourname_ContributionIDnumber, using your favorite file sender, at least 72 hours before the start of your poster session, to allow participants to download and look into your presentation in advance . This material will likely be either a standard one sheet poster or a short pdf-ppt file describing the work done. During your session, you can share any other material you deem useful for your presentation.

ORAL

You are required to send your presentation (only ppt or pdf) to the following recipient: isdeiv2020@igi.cnr.it, subject: yourname_ContributionIDnumber, using your favorite file sender,  72h before it is actually scheduled

Please note: time slot allocated to your presentation is 15' + 5' discussion (20' in total)

We STRONGLY RECOMMEND to send (72h before your presentation schedule) also a video recording of your presentation, whose duration must not exceed 15'. This is to assure you that your presentation will be guaranteed, should connection problems occur. Of course, you shall be present at the zoom session for the 5' discussion after your talk.

We suggest recording a zoom session, using the recording feature (It's sufficient the free Zoom session). You may find below systematic instructions:

1-open a zoom session (1 participant=you)

2-turn on the mic

3- share your presentation file (in slide show mode)

4-start recording (command tray on top of your screen, select "more", record on this computer Alt+R)

5-when you are done, stop recording

6-close the zoom session

7- a zoom_N.mp4 file will be created (the folder opens automatically)

8-make sure the quality and duration of your presentation both meet conference standards and requirements

9-name the file as follows: yourname_Contribution-IDnumber.mp4

10-send your file to isdeiv2020@igi.cnr.it, subject: yourname_Contribution-IDnumber, using your favorite file sender

Please note: file output must be compatible with Zoom standards

INVITED

We remind you that the time allocated to your presentation is 30' + 10' discussion (40' in total)

Should you decide to attend in remote mode, we warmly recommend recording your lecture. This way, you will be able to discuss it live streaming in the same slot assigned to you while preventing any problems arising from network failure. You may find below how to do this using zoom recording feature:
