Description

In this talk, I will first motivate the need for resource-efficient formulations of Hamiltonian lattice gauge theory beyond one spatial dimension. Then, I will introduce the Renormalized Dual Basis (RDB) as a framework that works efficiently for all coupling values in both Abelian and non-Abelian gauge theories. For the Abelian case, I will demonstrate the scalability and superior performance of the RDB compared to alternative formulations. Finally, I will show how combining the RDB with the iPEPS algorithm enables infinite-lattice computations in two spatial dimensions and their ab-initio continuum limit.
