Description
We propose a scheme by which a wavelet bulk description of a quantum field theory (QFT) can be equipped with an information metric based on local multiscale correlation functions. The method is applicable to any quadratic QFT that need not be a conformal field theory (CFT). The resulting metric is that of (asymmetrically) warped Euclidean anti-de Sitter (AdS) space. We study the relationship between entropic quantities for the field and geometric structures in the corresponding wavelet bulk. The goal is to bridge the gap between holographic observations in quantum information and the AdS/CFT correspondence.
