On behalf of the Australian Institute of Physics (AIP), it gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 26th AIP Congress, to be held at the University of Sydney from 7-11 December, 2026. This year, we are delighted to co-locate with the Australian and New Zealand Conference on Optics and Photonics (ANZCOP), while also featuring the Conference on Optoelectronic and Microelectronic Materials and Devices (COMMAD) as a dedicated topical track.
The AIP Congress is a premier biennial forum that brings together the Australian physics community and attracts delegates from across the globe. The 2026 Congress, hosted by the University of Sydney, will feature invited plenary talks alongside a diverse program of parallel and focus sessions. Together, these will span the full breadth of academic and industrial physics, with up to 20 distinct streams.
