Abstract submission
Interested applicants are required to submit an abstract via the online portal. Please submit a descriptive and concise abstract (maximum 300 words, no images), including any relevant publication(s), if applicable. Kindly also indicate the appropriate topical track or focus session for your abstract, as well as your preferred presentation format (oral or poster).
Email submissions will not be accepted.
Applicants will be advised of the outcome and their presentation type by 14 August 2026.
Please note all dates and times are Australian Eastern Standard Time.
How to submit an Abstract
To submit an abstract via Indico, you must first create an Indico account. Follow this Indico user guide to do so. Once you create the account, log-in to the abstract submission page through your account and enter the following information:
- Title
- Short but descriptive abstract (300-word limit)
- List all authors on the paper
- Name of author representing the research at Congress
- What is your contribution type (Oral presentation, Poster, etc)
- Select the topical stream (Track)
- Indicate if the presenting author is a research student
