Description

The next generation of gravitational-wave (GW) observatories will enable the detection of a large number of compact binary mergers, opening new possibilities for cosmology with standard sirens. In particular, dark sirens—GW events without electromagnetic counterparts—offer a promising way to measure cosmological parameters by statistically associating GW sources with galaxy catalogs.

In this work, we present preliminary results on the combination of simulated galaxy catalogs with GW data to constrain the Hubble constant (H ). We generate realistic mock galaxy catalogs using 0). We generate realistic mock galaxy catalogs using the GLASS framework, incorporating key observational effects relevant for large-scale structure
surveys. These catalogs are then combined with GW events using the GWDALI code, which provides an efficient framework for likelihood evaluation.

We further adapt the CHIMERA software for cosmological inference with dark sirens, enabling a joint analysis of GW localization and galaxy distributions. This approach allows us to statistically associate potential host galaxies within GW error volumes and infer cosmological parameters without the need for electromagnetic counterparts.

Our preliminary results demonstrate the feasibility of this pipeline and highlight the impact of galaxy catalog properties on H measurements. This work represents a step toward more realistic 0). We generate realistic mock galaxy catalogs using and scalable analyses for gravitational-wave cosmology in the era of next-generation detectors.
