The workshop will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Participants are encouraged to arrive via Larnaca International Airport (LCA), which offers the most convenient access to Nicosia.
From Larnaca Airport (LCA) to Nicosia (Recommended):
The Kapnos Airport Shuttle (https://kapnosairportshuttle.com/) provides a reliable connection between Larnaca Airport and Nicosia. Buses depart approximately every hour, with a transfer time of about 35 minutes. A one-way ticket costs €9. Tickets can be purchased online or directly at the airport shuttle counter.
From Paphos Airport (PFO) to Nicosia (Not recommended):
An alternative option—tough not recommended—is Paphos International Airport (PFO). Connections to Nicosia are available via the Kapnos Airport Shuttle (https://kapnosairportshuttle.com/), though they are less frequent—typically three times per day. The transfer takes around 100 minutes, and a one-way ticket costs €18. The detailed timetable for March will be published after mid-January (https://kapnosairportshuttle.com/routes/10/en/1).
Taxi Transfers:
Taxis are available from both airports for direct transfer to Nicosia. Estimated fares are approximately €50–60 from Larnaca and €120–140 from Paphos, depending on time of day and service provider.
Venue and Accommodation:
The exact workshop venue will be announced soon and will be either at the University of Cyprus or The Cyprus Institute. Recommendations for accommodation options and local transfers within Nicosia will be provided once the venue is confirmed.
Important Note:
The Ercan Airport (ECN) is located in the Turkish-occupied northern part of Cyprus and operates flights only via Turkey. Entry into the Republic of Cyprus through ECN is illegal. Participants are strongly advised not to use this airport.
