The Indian Strings Meeting (ISM) 2025 will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar and the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, during 9-14 Dec, 2025. This biennial international conference brings together researchers from around the world working in string theory, quantum field theory, and related areas of theoretical high-energy physics.
The meeting will feature a week-long program of plenary talks and poster presentations, highlighting the latest developments in areas such as string theory, quantum gravity, supersymmetric gauge theories, conformal field theories, and the AdS/CFT correspondence. In addition to presenting new research, the conference serves as a forum for in-depth discussions, cross-disciplinary engagement, and the exchange of ideas between established scientists, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students.
ISM has played a central role in shaping the string theory community in India for over two decades, and the 2025 edition will continue this tradition by fostering academic interaction, international collaboration, and exposure to emerging directions in theoretical high-energy physics.
