There are many hotels in Center City on the other side of the Schuylkill River. Hotels near Rittenhouse Square (19th & Walnut) are walkable (20 minutes). Hotels on Broad Street and near the PA Convention Center are a few blocks farther East and still walkable (30 minutes) or a short bus ride. Hotels in Old City and Penn's Landing are probably too far away to be convenient.
