"Alpenhotel Dahoam":
A total of 12 rooms have been pre-booked at "Alpenhotel Dahoam" until January 15, 2026.
This house is 2 km away from the venue and makes a nice wake-up-walk in the morning of approx. 20 minutes.
The prices at the "Alpenhotel Dahoam" are presently 110.00 EUR for a single room per night, incl. a fantastic breakfast, and 130.00 EUR for a double room per night, incl. breakfast.
For those, wanting to bring their family or planning to share with some colleagues, both a family room for 4 guests (consisting of 2 connected rooms and two bathrooms) and a holiday apartment are available (holiday apartment 4 "Achental" is big enough for up to 6 persons). Prices are to be requested with the landlord, Mr. Ruediger, directly.

Haiderhof:
The Haiderhof is located close to the Restaurant "Geigelstein", which makes about 5 minutes walk to the venue.
Mrs Stöger reserved her two holiday apartments for us. Each of them is about 45 m² and has one bedroom each, i.e. suitable for 1-2 persons, at a price of 75.00 EUR per day.

The Pilzhof is a so-called "Aussiedlerhof", a farmhouse standing alone outside the village, which usually makes a quite place.
The Pilzhof is still used as a farm and offers a nice view to the "Kampenwand" (mountain) and the "Streichen"-Chapel.

They are located very close to the venue (approx. 2-5 min. walk) and have a few holiday apartments that offer room for 2-6 guests (depending on the apartment).

Good to know:
Touristic areas like Schleching charge a so-called "Kurtaxe", which is a kind of "sleepover tax" and amounts presently to 1.50 EUR per person per day.
Often institutes do not reimburse this "Kurtaxe", i.e. if you want to avoid having to pay this yourself, please tell your landlord or hotel that you are here for business "beruflich", then the "Kurtaxe" in some cases can be waived or you check with your institute prior to the trip, whether they do reimburse it.
If you decide to accept to pay (or if it can't be waived for some reason) the "Kurtaxe" anyway, you will receive the so called "Kurkarte" which allows you to use the busses for free. This might even make sense if you choose an accomodation a little outside Schleching as the Kurtaxe certainly is cheaper than the bus fare.
Also, the entrance to places of interest, cultural attractions or e.g. public baths can be cheaper or even free of charge with the "Kurkarte".
Of course, you won't get this "Kurkarte", if you ask for a business waiver of the "Kurtaxe".
