This is the tenth Colombian Meeting on High Energy Physics (X ComHEP).  We hope to bring together young and senior particle physicists from Colombia and abroad, to discuss recent progress in particle physics, cosmology and related areas. The program of the meeting will address a broad range of topics, divided in dedicated sessions on:

  • Standard Model and the Higgs boson
  • Beyond the Standard Model
  • Neutrino Physics
  • Neutrino Experiments
  • Hadron and flavor physics
  • Dark matter
  • Cosmology and Cosmic rays
  • Theoretical physics
  • Astroparticle Physics

This year the conference will take place at Universidad de Antioquia, in the city of Medellin.

Prior to the conference, the second edition of the CONHEP School will take place on November 27–28, offering a series of hands-on training sessions aimed at students, focusing on a range of tools and methodologies relevant to research in high-energy physics. The registration is open at https://indico.global/e/2ndconhepschool. Support will be granted to a maximum of 20 students from outside Medellín to attend the school and the conference. To apply for this support, students must present a contribution at ComHEP X.

On November 26, the city of Medellín will also host the inaugural Quantum Arts Festival (QuArF-1). This interdisciplinary event will feature a full day of exhibitions presenting artistic works inspired by quantum physics, with contributions showcased by the artists themselves. The call can be found at http://cienciacomun.org/

This ComHEP edition will have a special event regarding projects with particle physics at schools in Colombia. The call for proposals is published here: https://bit.ly/colegioscomhepx
