Overview

We are pleased to announce the Southeast Asian Workshop on Nuclear and Hadron Physics, which will take place at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on August 19-21, 2025. 

This workshop aims to bring together researchers from across Southeast Asia and neighboring regions to discuss a broad range of topics, including:

  • Hadron spectroscopy and structure
  • Hadrons in nuclear matter

  • Nuclear structure and reactions

  • Nuclear astrophysics 

  • SM and BSM studies in hadrons and nuclei

We invite interested researchers, including students and early-career scientists, to participate and contribute to the discussions. Non-speaker participation is also welcome.

This is an in-person event, and we strongly encourage participants to attend on-site. However, online participation may be granted upon approval for those who face difficulties in traveling.

  • Feb 20, 2025: First circular
  • Mar 18, 2025: We are expanding the topics to include "SM and BSM studies in hadrons and nuclei"

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline: July 4, 2025 (Friday)
  • Registration deadline: July 18, 2025 (Friday)

Registration Fee

The registration fee is:

  • 350.000 IDR for researchers
  • 150.000 IDR for students

The registration fee includes lunch, refreshments, and a banquet during the workshop.
