Upon arrival, parking is available on either side of the Nuclear Engineering and Science (NES) building as seen in the red ovals in the map below. It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes prior to the conference start each day to ensure the availability of a good parking spot. Please keep in mind that the conference will start at 8:50 on Tuesday 10/10.
General Directions to the NES and LINAC buildings –
From the New York State Thruway (Interstates 90 and 87), east from Buffalo or north from NYC, leave the Thruway at Exit 24 (Interstate 90). Take I-90 East for 6 miles to the exit for I-787 North. Take I-787 North to the exit for "Rt. 7 East, Troy-Bennington". (Although not marked as such, this exit is in fact the end of I-787).
Follow signs for Rt. 7, Hoosick Street. At the 7th traffic light (about 1 mile), turn right onto So Lake Ave (note: there is a Mr. Subb on the corner of So Lake Ave and Hoosick Street). Proceed on So Lake Ave to the third intersection and turn right onto Tibbits Ave. The Nuclear Engineering and Science (NES) building is located on the right hand side after the large blue water tower. There are driveways on either side of the front of the NES building.
