Description
In the last years, there has been a growing interest in a special type of Quantum field theories
called Conformal Field Theories (CFTs). The structure of the correlators from these theories
are known to be extremely simple, making them a very attractive theoretical object. In this talk,
I will present my Master Thesis which tries to illustrate using two different models, one
possible approach that we can take to exploit those advantages.
I will also use this opportunity to briefly present the current and future research that I will be
doing during my PhD in UiB. I will introduce the Light-front formalism and link it to high-
energy jets and I will also talk about the multiple scale problem that one has to face when
studying Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP).
