The Cosmic Rhythms workshop aims to bring together international experts to discuss challenges in the upcoming era of high-precision cosmology, with a particular focus on large-scale structure, the CMB and their cross-correlations.
Topics will include data analysis, statistical methods, and theoretical modeling in light of the latest observations challenging the LCDM paradigm. We are aiming to an interactive workshop, with ample time for discussions, and a moderate number of participants.
The workshop will take place on the 8 to 12 of September 2026 at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF) in Rio de Janeiro. CBPF is one of Brazil’s leading cosmology institutes, offering a fantastic setting near the Sugarloaf Mountain and just a few minutes from Copacabana Beach.
Participation & Contributions
Participation in the workshop is limited. Interested participants must apply to attend via the Indico registration form.
Scientific contributions will be selected from submitted abstracts. Accepted contributions may be presented either as oral talks or as posters. Poster presenters will also be invited to give a fire slide, consisting of a short 3-minute presentation to advertise their poster and highlight their research interests.

Registration fees must be paid via PayPal, Pix or bank deposit made out to the Fundação de Apoio e Desenvolvimento da Computação Científica (FACC). At the time of payment, the service recipient's information must be provided as described below so that a service invoice can be issued:
- Full name ;
- CPF or Passport number ;
- Address with ZIP code ;
Cancellation Policy:
Participants may request cancellation and refund up to 7 days after payment confirmation. If the registration period is extended, cancellation requests and refund will not be accepted during that period; that is, refund requests will only be accepted during the normal registration period. Note: Refunds will not be issue in full; bank fees and FACC service charges will be deducted, and refunds will only be processes after the event has ended. If the event of cancellation by the participant, FACC will retain 10% (ten percent) for operational and administrative expenses (DOA). If registration is completed after the deadline specified on the platforms, the full amount will be refunded to the payer.
