Description

We explore the possibility of achieving unification of the standard model coupling constants in a possible way to $E_6$ breaking pattern, $E_6 \rightarrow SU(3)_c \otimes SU(2)_L\otimes U_I\otimes U_{51\bar{I}}\otimes U_{32\bar{I}}$. We find in this particular pattern that, the unification scale occurs at $2\times10^{16}$ TeV.
