Excursions

We will invite some tourism agency representatives to the conference to explain to the participants the type of tours they offer. Then, the will participants select the tours they want, during the first or the second day of the conference.

 

OPTIONS TOURS:

World Quality Wines: Casablanca Valley

Duration:

4 to 5 hours.

Tour includes:

Authorized vehicle + professional driver + guide (depending on option) + visit to 2 vineyards with tour and tasting of 3 wines in each vineyard.

Tour description:

Departure from your hotel to Casablanca Valley that will impress you by the beauty of its landscape and the quality of its wines. Its privileged Mediterranean climate (due to its proximity to the sea) is perfect especially for white wines.

On our tour we will visit two prestigious vineyards of the valley, where we can make tours to learn, in detail, their processes of wine making and tasting (Tour includes three tastings in each vineyard).

Casablanca Valley wines are exported all over the world and are of excellent quality, among the most recognized of this Premium Cool Valley are: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. This tour does not include lunch, nor waiting time for lunch.

 

15:00 PM - William Cole - Tapihue Wine

  • Tour and tasting in the vineyard facilities, winery, tank room and barrel room.
  • A tasting of our 3 great reserve wines.

 

16:30 PM - Casa del Bosque Vineyard

  • Tour of the winery andd tasting of 4 wines: Sauvignon Blanc Reserva, Chardonnay Gran Reserva, Gran Reserva Carmenere and Small Syrah.

 

PRICE PER PERSON: $89.000 (chilean pesos) or in dollars at the exchange rate on the day of purchase of the excursion. Rate valid for a minimum of 4 participants.

 

Classic City Tour: Viña del Mar & Valparaíso

Duration:

4 hours.

Tour includes:

Authorized vehicle + professional driver + English speaking tour guide + museum entrance ticket + traditional funicular ticket.

Tour description:

Visit Viña del Mar "The Garden City", famous chilean summer city with a fascinating natural beauty, gastronomy and lifestyle. Go through the coastal road and explore its main attractions (Quinta Vergara, flower clock, among others).

Visit Valparaíso and fall in love with this city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Valparaíso has the form of a natural amphitheater facing the sea, almost all the city is hanging on the hills. Walk by the traditional Atkinson and Gervasoni strolls full of history of the foreign immigrants that arrived to Valparaíso when this important Port was considered "the jewel of the Pacific ocean" (before Panamá Canal).

Ride one traditional "ascensor" (funicular) of Valparaíso and visit 21 de Mayo stroll and its magnificent viewpoint of the city.

Visit to Sotomayor square reminiscent of the heroes of Iquique and the Pacific War.

Passengers could also visit (incluiding ticket):

  • Francisco Fonk Museum of Archaeology and Natual History: Exhibitions of chilean cultures as Rapa Nui, Mapuche and many others continental Chile cultures in recently remodeled rooms. Natural history exhibition with ecosystems of the region of Valparaíso from a transversal pespective beginning with the marine ecosystem of Easter Island and continuing with marine animals of coastal region, central coast, central valley and Los Andes mountain range.
