HEPNP2025 Conference Third Announcement
Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to inform you that the conference will commence in two weeks (January the 6th). Below, you will find important details regarding the event, as well as information about your travel and stay in Chile.
Registration and Abstract Submission
Please note that the registration is now closed. The abstract submission is still open to allow registrants to submit their abstracts.
Conference Fee Payment
To ensure a smooth start on the first day of the conference, we strongly encourage you to use the conference payment website, official payment portal to pay the fee in advance. You can also pay the fee using cash, credit or debit card during the first day of the event.
The conference fee covers:
- Participation in the event
- Welcome kit
- Opening banquet
- Coffee breaks and lunches throughout the conference
- Shuttle service between meeting points and the university
Timetable
A preliminary timetable has been posted on the conference website. Please note that slight adjustments may be made to accommodate speakers' requests.

Official Dinner
The conference's official dinner will take place at Tierra de Fuego Restaurant in Viña del Mar. The cost is CLP $63,000, which includes taxes and tips.
If you wish to attend, payment can be made upon arrival at the conference on Tuesday, January 7, using cash (CLP) or a credit/debit card. For more details, please visit the link: Conference Dinner.
Excursions
We have arranged half-day excursions with a local tour operator. Detailed information about available tours and pricing is available here.

Airport Shuttle Service
Transportation options from the airport can be found at this link.
If you’d like to arrange shared transportation, please complete the following form: Shared Transportation Form. This service will be coordinated based on participants’ arrival times and is at the cost of the service users. Please note that the information you provide in the form is confidential and will not be available to the public.
Hotel-USM-Hotel Shuttle Service
A shuttle service between meeting points and the conference venue will be available throughout the event. Routes and schedules will be published shortly in the Local Transportation section. We encourage you to fill out the “Shared Transportation form” to help us define the itinerary of the shuttle service.
Accommodation
The arrangement of accommodation is not part of the registration procedure. A list of hotels can be found under the "Accommodation" link on the conference website. If you need assistance with hotel reservations, please contact our conference administrative assistant Marioly Neira at marioly.neira@usm.cl.

January is a wonderful and busy time to visit Chile. Airfares currently look good but will start rising soon. We recommend booking tickets as soon as possible.
