Description

The mechanism of leptogenesis provides an attractive link between two seemingly disparate pieces of evidence for beyond Standard Model physics, namely, the neutrino mass and matter-antimatter asymmetry. Low-scale leptogenesis is particularly attractive, since it can be tested in various ongoing and future experiments at both energy and intensity frontiers. We will review some low-scale leptogenesis scenarios, with a special emphasize on the importance of flavor effects for their testability. Some correlations between the baryon asymmetry and experimental observables at both low and high energy will be discussed.
