Description

Centaurus A is the nearest radio-galaxy and an excellent laboratory to study the origin of particle acceleration responsible for the High-Energy (HE) and Very-High-Energy (VHE) gamma-ray emission in Active Galactic Nuclei. The H.E.S.S. and Fermi-LAT collaborations have together recently published the most up-to-date Spectral Energy Distribution of its core emission. I will present these recent results and will discuss how will the HE and VHE gamma-ray emission from Centaurus A be studied in the upcoming years.
