Flying to Tenerife:
The closest airport to the institute is the Tenerife North (TFN) airport, but it is more focused on Spanish national flights. There are many more direct flights from mainland Europe traveling to the Tenerife South (TFS) airport. If you are taking a connecting flight through Madrid/Barcelona then picking TFN as the final destination is much more convenient.
