Description

The sky on a clear night is one of the most fascinating natural sights, providing multiple (and free!) promotion opportunities for physics. The talk will describe the recent astronomy-related outreach activities at the Grenfell Campus if the Memorial University of Newfoundland, leading to more than doubling enrollments in our physics courses, as well as several methods ensuring that the students will stay fascinated with physics.
