Description
McGill University hosted on 10-12 January 2014 a first
Canadian-version of a Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics
(CCUWiP). This conference was modeled after the successful CUWiP conference
series centrally organized by the American Physical Society. We will
describe the goals of this kind of conference, organizational details,
and report on the event held at McGill. Thoughts about the future of
these kind of events in Canada will also be discussed.
