Warning: fraudulent accommodation and travel offers
Some registered participants have received unsolicited emails offering to arrange hotel accommodation for 2nd SEA-NHP 2026. These emails are not from the organizers, and we have not authorized any third party to arrange travel or accommodation on our behalf.
The messages typically claim to represent an official "travel team" or "housing bureau," ask for your travel dates, and promise a flexible, fee-free reservation. Once you reply, you are asked for credit card details. In reported cases the booking is never made, but cancellation and service fees are charged.
What to do:
- Do not reply to such messages and do not click any booking link they provide.
- Never send travel dates, passport information, or payment details in response to them.
- Forward anything suspicious to us.
The 2nd Southeast Asian Workshop on Nuclear and Hadron Physics (SEA-NHP) will be held at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, in December 1st to 5th, 2026, with the goal of strengthening scientific collaboration and developing a vibrant research network in nuclear and hadron physics across Southeast Asia. Building on the success of the first SEA-NHP, held in Yogyakarta in August 2025 at Universitas Gadjah Mada https://indico.global/event/13949, this workshop will bring together researchers from the region and international partners to exchange new ideas and discuss recent progress in hadron spectroscopy and structure, hadrons in nuclear matter, nuclear structure and reactions, nuclear astrophysics, and studies of Standard Model and Beyond Standard Model phenomena in hadrons and nuclei.
Topics
The main research topics include:
- Hadron Spectroscopy and Structure
- Hadrons in Nuclear Matter
- Nuclear Structure and Reactions
- Nuclear Astrophysics
- Standard Model and Beyond Standard Model Studies
Important dates
- Registration deadline: October 31st, 2026
- Financial Support deadline: August 31st, 2026
- Abstract submission deadline: September 30th, 2026
