The Workshop will be held in the Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort (Google maps).

Participants are encouraged to stay at the Resort, and a deal has been arranged for reduced rates during the workshop. All accommodation bookings are the responsibility of attendees.
Over the period Saturday September 19th to Monday September 28th inclusive, a discount of 20% is available, compared with the unrestricted rate that applies at the time when the booking is made. (This means that the resorts's rates will change over time, as the resort varies its prices during the year. The organisers have no control over this aspect of the accommodation rates.)
The Resort's cancellation policy is that, for a cancellation made within seven days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee equal to the first night's accommodation rate will be charged.
Attendees are encouraged to book accommodation as soon as possible. No rooms are being held, and all bookings are subject to room availability.
