Welcome reception

The conference will open with an official reception at the Santiago de Compostela City Hall, where representatives of the City will welcome conference participants. This will be followed by a welcome cocktail served at the City Hall.
The reception will take place at the Pazo de Raxoi, the historic building that overlooks the iconic Praza do Obradoiro and serves today as the seat of the municipal government. The square itself brings together some of the city's most emblematic institutions: the Cathedral, the City Hall, the University and the former Royal Hospital for pilgrims, now the Hostal dos Reis Católicos.
Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will take place at the Hostal dos Reis Católicos, one of Santiago de Compostela's most iconic historic buildings, located alongside the Cathedral in the heart of the Praza do Obradoiro.
Originally commissioned by the Catholic Monarchs as a Royal Hospital to provide care and shelter for pilgrims arriving in Santiago, the building dates back to the beginning of the 16th century. Today, it is part of the Paradores network and is regarded as one of the oldest hotels in Spain.
Its historic architecture has been remarkably preserved, including its Plateresque façade, four cloisters, stone arches and elegant corridors. The building also houses an extensive art collection, adding to its unique atmosphere.
