A 4-day interactive and engaging (yet light) event at IPAC2026 !

The main objective is to foster collaboration between Students, Mentors from Research Infrastructures (Ris) and Companies, by addressing real-world challenges with cutting-edge technologies.

IUPAP Working Group 14 (WG14) fosters global collaboration in accelerator science, combining technical excellence, inclusivity, and a strong network. We proudly support IPAC events and aim to highlight the societal impact of accelerator technologies.

Hackathonino, a hackathon-style event during IPAC2026, serving as a proof of concept with the goal of establishing it as a recurring feature at future IPACs !

      While students can interact directly with the Industrial section from their IPAC booth, mentors are warmly encouraged to guide them during the 15:00–18:00 time window, including the poster sessions, where additional discussions can naturally emerge around the presented work.
