Getting to Odense

By train

Odense central station is conveniently located in the city center and is served by international trains from Germany. It is one of the stops from the direct line between Hamburg (Germany) and Copenhagen.

From Copenhagen

The direct trip from Copenhagen Central station (Københaven Hovedbanegård) with intercity trains takes 1h 40. You can buy tickets on the Danish railway website, dsk.dk. The intercity trains also stop at Copenhagen airport (Københaven Kastrup).

From Germany / Hamburg

There is a direct Eurocity train connection from Hamburg to Odense. The trip takes around 3.5 hours. You can buy tickets through the German railway service, bahn.de.

By Airplane

If you are arriving by airplane, the best option is to fly to Copenhagen airport and take the train from there (see above). Alternatively you can fly to Billund airport. From there, you will have to take a bus to Vejle station and switch to the train there.
