We propose a new approach to measuring the CP-violating phase in neutrino mixing using atmospheric neutrinos. This involves an up-down flux ratio for sub-GeV atmospheric neutrinos. For Hyper-Kamiokande โโ the first experiment with sufficient atmospheric-neutrino statistics in this energy range โโ our approach can surpass the sensitivity of accelerator long-baseline experiments near $\delta =...

Hyper-Kamiokande is a next-generation underground water Cherenkov detector that will probe leptonic CP violation, the neutrino mass ordering, proton decay, and astrophysical neutrinos. Achieving this physics reach requires precise knowledge of the detector's photosensor response, since the sensitivity to CP violation and oscillation parameters rests on accurate reconstruction of Cherenkov...

Hyper-Kamiokande is a next-generation underground water Cherenkov detector that will deliver world-leading sensitivity to leptonic CP violation and the neutrino mass ordering, alongside searches for proton decay and studies of atmospheric, solar and astrophysical neutrinos. We present an overview of the physics programme and the Australian contribution to the analysis and calibration work that...

The next generation of neutrino oscillation experiments is expected to measure leptonic mixing parameters at the sub-percent level. This experimental sensitivity has to be matched by precise theoretical predictions. I will discuss the impact of quantum corrections on leptonic mixing parameters and discuss their implications for models of lepton flavour.

For twenty years, a persistent discrepancy between experimental measurements and theoretical calculations of the muon anomalous magnetic moment has provided tantalising hints of new physics. In recent years, improvements to the experimental precision have appeared to make the tension stronger and stronger. However, at the same time, our new theoretical computation using lattice QCD overturned...
