Description

Single-frequency fiber lasers have advantages such as high power, broad spectral coverage, excellent beam quality, and good robustness. During the development of 589 nm sodium guide star lasers for astronomical adaptive optics, our team has developed key technologies including high-power single-frequency fiber amplifiers, ultra-broadband wavelength tuning of fiber lasers, and high-efficiency nonlinear frequency conversion. These technologies not only meet the requirements for sodium guide star applications but also suit the demands of quantum technology and other fields for precision narrow-linewidth lasers. This report will present our team's research progress and application status of high-power single-frequency fiber lasers in the near-infrared, visible, and ultraviolet bands.
