Description
Starting at the quark level it has proven possible to build a remarkably accurate description of even-even nuclei across the periodic table, with very few parameters compared with other approaches, starting at the quark level. We will present recent results on the structure of superheavy nuclei as well as results of the extension of the model to neutron stars. The latter may include the effects of exotic hadrons as well as dark matter.
