Description

Analysis of forces in mass dynamics shows that the inertial force satisfies the principle of action and reaction in every experiment on Earth. The concept that inertial force arises from the interaction of mass and space (either absolute, inertial or spacetime) doesn’t incorporate the action-reaction principle. Einstein also recognised the fact that the lack of a reaction to the inertial force is a serious criticism of the concept of spacetime. Presented is the hypothesis that the inertial force arises in the interaction of accelerating masses via the force field that each accelerating mass generates around itself. This concept satisfies the principle of action and reaction. The laboratory experiment, which can be used to test if the dynamic gravitational field exists, is also described. The experiment could either detect the dynamic gravitational field or provide proof that an inertial force can develop without a reaction force. The dynamic gravitational field hypothesis supports the local ether concept for the electromagnetic effects and establishes a physical link between gravitation and electromagnetism. Astronomical observations of stellar velocities in galaxies suggest that this field may exist. The dynamic gravitational field can explain astronomical observations without invoking the auxiliary dark-matter hypothesis.
