Financial Support Application
The GSST/CBERS-5 International Symposium on Machine Learning in Heliophysics and Space Weather is pleased to offer a limited number of financial support grants to assist students, early-career researchers, and faculty members in attending the event.
This financial support is exclusively intended to cover the symposium registration fee. Please note that no travel, accommodation, per diem, or other logistical expenses will be funded under this program.
Selected applicants will be granted access to special reduced registration rates, as follows:
- Students: BRL 10.00
- Early-Career Researchers: BRL 30.00
- Faculty: BRL 50.00
Applicants wishing to be considered for financial support must complete this form and submit all required documentation by March 23 (23:59, BRT).
All applications will be carefully evaluated by the Organizing Committee. The results of the financial support selection process will be communicated to applicants on April 19.
Selected applicants will receive an e-mail with detailed instructions regarding registration and payment processing together with the acceptance notification.
Selection Criteria
Financial support will be awarded based on a combination of factors, including:
- Applicants affiliated with institutions located in low- and middle-income countries;
- Promotion of diversity and inclusion within the symposium community;
- Career stage and potential benefit from participation in the event.
Important Instructions
- Applicants who request financial support must wait for the selection results before completing registration and payment.
- Selected applicants will receive detailed instructions regarding registration procedures and payment processing together with the acceptance notification.
- Registration payments made prior to the financial support decision will not be eligible for reimbursement.
